By this time next week, the San Benito Public Library will reopen with a few subtle, though significant differences.

The library is currently closed until renovations at its 101 W. Rose St. location are complete.

According to Gerry Salazar, library director, approximately $6,000 worth of renovations earmarked for the facility include new carpeting within the children’s section of the library as well as ongoing upgrades to the bathrooms.
