LOS FRESNOS – Resaca Middle School students of Los Fresnos CISD received a standing ovation after a video about their “Hello Navi” app – which assists blind or visually-impaired people in navigating inside buildings – was featured at the Google I/O Developers’ Conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco Wednesday morning.

The three-minute video was shown near the end of the two-hour Keynote for the conference, which attracts thousands of developers from around the world.

The video was called “Developer Success” and featured two other apps. The clip featuring the Resaca students – Cassandra Baquero, Grecia Cano, Kaitlin Gonzales, Kayleen Gonzalez, Janessa Leija and Jacquelyne Torres – was the highlight of the video.
