Reynalda “Reyna” Flores

Reynalda “Reyna” Flores, 76, of San Benito, Texas, entered into eternal peace on Sunday, June 22, 2014.

Reyna was a loving, caring, faithful woman who loved to spend time with her family, work, and travel. Reyna owned Isela’s Flower Shop in San Benito and successfully ran it for 39 years. The legacy she left will continue on in the family business. She will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donato and Beatriz Flores, her brother Jaime Garcia, and son-in-law Rey E. Ramirez, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 58 years, Angel Flores; her children: Beatriz “Bea” Ramirez, Nelda (Mike) Flores Lozito, Angel Hugo Flores, Isela (Eli) Cortez, and Adrian Flores; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Abel Garcia.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.

Funeral mass was held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Interment followed at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.

    Its been 4 months since you left us. Not a day that goes by that I do not think of you. Time has really changed since youve left. Things are just not the same without you. I miss you so much mom. I hope to you see you soon. I love you.

    My most sincere condolences to all the family Flores. She was certainly a kind lady I always like stopping by at the flower shop not only for purchase but to chat with Reyna we could talk. Her smile her sincerely and her smooth spoken voice made you listen I will miss seeing you Reyna but Heaven needed you most now. They
    have flowers in Heaven too.
