The San Benito Consolidated Independent School District held its annual Employee Awards Assembly at San Benito Veterans Memorial Academy Gymnasium Friday, June 6.
Teachers and staff members were on hand to receive awards and applaud others.
In the district’s Teachers of the Year recognitions, 19 educators – one from each campus – were awarded. Receiving the prestigious district-wide TOTY statuses for the 2014-15 school year were Laura D. Taylor of Angela Gerusa Leal Elementary, Elementary; and Mary Tsadi of Gateway to Graduation Academy, Secondary.
