SBCISDRichard Garza, the owner of ISD Managed Care Services (ISD MCS) and soon-to-be former on-site health care provider for San Benito CISD employees continues to raise allegations against the school district after being provided a 60-day termination notice.

As previously reported, the SBCISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved submitting said notice to ISD MCS at a special meeting on Wednesday, April 30 following concern with an Internal Revenue Service lien in excess of $315,000 that was placed on the district’s future payments to Garza. According to district officials, Garza owed just over $315,000 to the IRS, the second occurrence in less than a year’s time as Garza’s tax troubles incurred the district a $60 levy last summer.
