Crystal Castillo of the San Benito Lady ’Hounds is pictured showing off some arm strength against Sharyland at home on Saturday. The Lady ’Hounds will now face Los Fresnos in the regional quarterfinals in San Benito on Friday. Game time is at 7 p.m.
The pressure’s on for the San Benito Lady ’Hounds as their regional quarterfinals game on Friday is against an old rival, the Los Fresnos Lady Falcons, in a one game, winner takes all clash.
But that’s just how the Lady ’Hounds like it.
“We know that everything is on the line, that our backs are against the wall and that only one team is going to come out of it, but we’re going to work hard and we don’t take anything for granted,” said San Benito softball coach Elias Martinez.
