UPDATE: Police search for runaway teen ends

San Benito police officers’ search for a 14-year-old girl who reportedly ran away from home has ended.

According to a San Benito Police Department press release, Cameron Jade Hernandez, 14, of San Benito had been missing for nearly two weeks. She was last seen on Thursday, April 10, at her residence located on the 1100 block of South McCullough Street in San Benito.

Hernandez was reportedly found inside a Harlingen home. Police further reported that Hernandez is back in San Benito and may be placed with her family or at the Darrell Hester Juvenile Justice Center.
