LOS FRESNOS – A rare ocelot kitten was recently spotted at the Laguna Atascosa Wildlife Refuge in Los Fresnos, a discovery that has many wildlife biologists excited.

“It is a big deal,” said Leo Gustafson, Assistant Refuge Manager. “Ocelots are an endangered species here in the United States. That means that there aren’t very many left here in Texas. We are in the northern extent of their range.”
