Early voting for the 2014 Cameron County and State of Texas Primary Elections began on Tuesday, Feb. 18, for most polling locations.
According to unofficial totals for the early voting turnout as of Monday, Feb. 24, a total of 6,664 voters have turned out at polling locations in Cameron County. Of the 6,664 total voters, approximately 5,829 are registered with the Democratic Party, and 835 are registered with the Republican Party.
