McALLEN – The San Benito Lady Greyhounds participated in the 16-5A District Wrestling Tournament at Nikki Rowe High School in McAllen on Friday, Jan. 24, and Saturday, Jan. 25.
Heather Rodriguez took home the first place medal in the 102-pound weight division and qualified for the Regional competition. Also qualifying for regionals was Christy Satterfield in the 110-pound weight division.
Ashley Garza captured a fourth place medal in the 128-pound weight division and also secured a spot at the Regional competition.
