SAN BENITO—Roberto Chavez, Jr., 43, passed away at Valley Baptist Medical Center on Thursday, January 9, 2014, surrounded by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Roberto Chavez, Sr.
He is survived by his mother Hijinia Chavez; four sisters Norma Chavez (Andy), Rachel Lopez (Noe), Guadalupe Moya (Jose) and Elena Chavez; three brothers Ruben Chavez (Norma), Rene Chavez (Erika), Rosendo Chavez (Elizabeth). Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends who will miss him greatly.
Visitation will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Henry Thomae Funeral Home with prayer services at 7 p.m. Church services will be held Monday, January 13, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Iglesia Betesta Santa Pentecostes, 480 E. Expressway in San Benito. Burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
Services have been entrusted to the care of Henry Thomae Funeral Home 701 N. Bowie San Benito; 399-9992.
