HARLINGEN – Renowned guitarist Rick Lugo, a San Benito native, recently made a donation to the Harlingen Ronald McDonald House on Friday, Dec. 20.

Though he wasn’t able to be there in person, his son, Rick Enrique Lugo, was on hand to present the check for $250.

“The money that is given to us today is to help the families to give them comfort, care and to give them a place to stay when they need it most, when their child is in the hospital,” explained LaHuan Guthriel, Development Manager for the Ronald McDonald House.
