A man is behind bars after he allegedly broke into a home over the weekend and inappropriately touched a teenage girl.
According to a San Benito Police Department press release, officers responded to a residence located on the 800 block of Rio Grande Street at approximately 3:16 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, in reference to a suspected burglary of a habitation.
Upon arrival, police made contact with a 29-year-old man who stated that he had detained the suspect, later identified as 19-year-old man Noriel Pineda.
