Local dentist Serapio De La Rosa Jr., D.D.S. has been selected as the grand marshal of this weekend’s 63rd annual San Benito Lighted Christmas Parade.
Scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, De La Rosa will lead the holiday procession, held downtown San Benito on Sam Houston Boulevard, consisting of about 97 entries, Danny Cortez, chairman of the City of San Benito Special Events Board, confirmed on Friday.
“The weather will be good, everything will be nice, and everybody will show up and have fun,” Cortez said.
