Heron Juarez, 77, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Visitation and recitation of the holy rosary was held at Biggers Funeral Home in Lake Worth, Texas. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church. Interment with military honors was held at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth, Texas.
Heron was born to Pablo and Ana Maria R. Juarez in San Benito, Texas. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years and worked for the G.S.A. for 17 years. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an active member of the Saint Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Also two brothers Rey Juarez from San Benito, TX; and Naun Juarez from Harlingen, TX and a sister, Santa Lucia Juarez Castellano.
He is survived by his wife, Margarita V. Juarez from Lake Worth, TX; sons Paul and wife Patricia from Rowlett, TX; David and wife Anastasia from Macomb Township, Michigan; and Debbie Smith and husband Dewayne from Lake Worth, TX.; and two sisters, Maria R. Lerma and husband Gilbert from Harlingen, TX; and Noemi Galvan and husband Uvence, Sr. from San Benito, TX.
He is also survived by his grandchildren Julia Juarez, Christina Juarez, Lisa, Linda and Christopher Smith; and great-grandchildren Abigail and Emily Reyes, Madalynn Whittington, Gavin Hartfield, and Aidan and Camdon Smith.
