The San Benito Consolidated Independent School District has thus far spent over $2,000 on the investigation into suspended Superintendent of Schools Antonio G. Limón.

Not calculating the amount of money—$165,303 annually—spent to keep Limón on paid administrative leave, or the salary of Alfonso Obregón, who since June has been paid $717.25 per day to serve as the interim superintendent, the SBCISD Board of Trustees-approved probe is expected to cost much more than a couple thousand dollars.

Where is the money for staff development? Where is the money to GIVE BACK THOSE CUT HOURS to the police department? I will tell you where it is. IT IS PAYiNG FOR TWO, YES TWO SUPERINTENDENTS!!!
