Yliana González, president of the San Benito Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees, was mum Friday about what progress has been made in the investigation into allegations made against suspended Superintendent of Schools Antonio G. Limón.

“If there is anything, then I need to share it first with the board before I disseminate that information to the media,” González said.

Mrs board president, you and your puppets have continually financially drained this district. We cannot wait until election time!

Old timer, you are sooo right! YLIANA is allowing OUR TAX DOLLARS to be spent and spent. 64 allegations? She has been on the board long enough to know if something was not right.. If she wants us to think she could not open her mouth to speak well., she needs to go back to school….she is NOT FOOLING ANYONE. May 2014 can not come soon enough!
Speak up San Benito, speak up!!

Remember when Yliana commented regarding Medrano’s request for information on 64 accusations against Mr. Limon? To quote her, “Medrano has made an issue out of nothing.” Sixty-four allegations does not constitute “nothing”!!
I was under the impression that Mr Limon was suspended pending an investigation for an incident that occurred regarding a choir director at a middle school. Now Yliana has gathered sixty-four more allegations? Tis sounds to me like she has already has conducted her own investigation. She should at least tell us, the tax payers of this district, if her $150/hr lawyers will have to investigate all 64 or only the one that caused Mr. Limon’s suspension.
Another question, didn’t I also read that harlingen PD has all the evidence on the school teacher case? Would it not be more cost effective to just request the info from the Hgn PD?
Yliana calls herself a professional educator. I do not see anything professional about her. To begin with, she does not know when to use the nomitive or objective case in her comments to the news media. How can someone with a master’s degree be so ignorant of the proper land correct grammar?
Yliana, go back to school and take grammar 101, perhaps then you can begin to, at least, sound a little bit intelligent and professional. Yliana, you are an embarrassment to your professional! No wonder you are seldom available for comment to the media.
Where were you when all those 64 allegations were occurring? Maybe you weren’t answering your phone at that time.

You bet she is waiting until April 2014. Remember, We, the taxpayers, can afford this “so call” investigation because it’s NOT HER TAXPAYER MONEY.
Who is going to speak for San Benito.?. Because she does not represent my relatives or extended family.

Richard, you make a very good point. This woman is running the show. She can deny it all she wants but WE KNOW! Those “cheypads” are a joke. People are afraid of losing their jobs so they go along. What happened to her and her 3 Followers doing the right thing? Man, I cannot wait for May 2014. Anybody but those two who are up for reelection would be a BETTER CHOICE!

Excellent points by my fellow bloggers. I tune in to the meetings to see if there’s any discussions regarding our children’s education, or any matters that are revelant to school teachers or parents, but to no avail.

Before Gonzalez got arrived, the School Board meetings were constructive, energetic, and reeked a positive atmosphere. Sadly all one witnesses now is disorganization, calamity, and a Board President adamant on performing endless and senseless witch hunts.

And just how long does an investigation of this nature take? Is this out of town law firm stating “sorry Ms Rich client, but we are at a crossroad, preponderance of evidence scales simply not tipping in YOUR favor”.
To which Ms Gonzalez responds, “find something, now, just send us the bill, THEY can afford it.”

Exactly how much additional time do you need Yliana? Let me guess, until April 2014?

The taxpayer continues to pay double salaries. They are spending all this money on a law firm because Limon refused to take their buy out offer. The board president is now investigating another board member. By what authority? Who investigated her during the insurance letter? The same company she wanted then was the one the four voted for later. Who investigated her during purchase of the chuypads? Students in question already had ipads purchased by district.

This district has done nothing about student success whether in the classroom or in athletics. May 2014 is almost here… Thank goodness
