The San Benito Greyhounds have won two straight in District 31-5A, bringing their district total to 3-1 (3-3 overall), but a very tough Weslaco East Wildcats football team could spell trouble for the ’Hounds’ quest for a district championship.

The Greyhounds are currently riding the momentum of Friday’s 24-14 victory over the PSJA North Raiders. The Wildcats are 2-1 in district play (3-2 overall), and are also coming off an impressive 27-14 victory over the PSJA Bears.
