RIO HONDO – A Rio Hondo Police Department reserve officer arrested for his alleged involvement in a recent burglary can expect to face additional charges when he’s extradited Thursday.
Ernesto Yanez, 26, was arrested in Houston on Friday, Oct. 4, and is expected to face burglary and official oppression charges for an incident that occurred Friday, Sept. 27. Additional charges, however, stem from accusations that he tampered with governmental record, according to authorities.
