Thirteen-year-old local drag racer Leroy Thomae showed the Dallas Raceway how it’s done in the RGV this past weekend by securing the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) junior division.
Leroy, a resident of San Benito competing in Crandall, Texas, represented the Edinburg Raceway and South Texas well at the IHRA Summit SuperSeries event on Friday, Sept. 27, as he was crowned the junior winner in the Division 4 Renegades Summit Team Finals.
