SBPD officer in shooting remains on leave

The San Benito Police Department continues to investigate a shooting involving one of its officers.

On Wednesday, Sept. 11, officer Joe Ledesma discharged his weapon at four suspects inside a vehicle that reportedly sped towards the policeman.

“There haven’t been any updates,” said SBPD Detective Rogelio Banda Jr.

  1. What the heck is SBPD waiting for? Clear the officer and be done with it they tried to run him over. Or maybe SBPD is waiting to catch the bad guys and see what they say haxppened. Just Clear HIM ALREADY.
