As the quarterback of a local deaf football team, the 25-year-old Brownsville Hanna High School graduate and resident of the Resaca City has thrived in the position, being recognized during his school days as the Athlete of the Year at one point and praised for his prowess both on the offensive and defensive side of the ball.
