Perhaps there’s no better feeling than getting that first win.

But quieting the naysayers and pulling off an “upset” in the process certainly don’t hurt, either.

A week after a terrible outing in the Battle of the Arroyo, the San Benito Greyhounds were solid all the way around and withstood a weather delay and McAllen Memorial to seize a 15-10 win on Friday night in their 31-5A district opener at Bobby Morrow Stadium.
