RIO HONDO — They haven’t been easy, but they’ve been wins.
And the Rio Hondo Bobcats are still perfect on the young season.
On an evening when the defense was superb all night, the Cats held off Class 4A La Joya Juarez-Lincoln for a 19-13 non-district win on Friday night at Bobcat Stadium.
“It’s another tough, hard victory for us,” Bobcats head coach Rocky James said. “Our defense played lights out all night long and they showed up big tonight.”
