If the numbers at the annual Greyhound underclassman football camp are any indication, the future looks bright for the purple and gold.

About 185 incoming seventh, eighth and ninth graders hit the field at Bobby Morrow Stadium this week for the annual four-day camp put on by the San Benito coaching staff. Campers are getting instruction in all phases of the game and Greyhound head football coach/AD Spencer Gantt said it’s been a rousing success thus far.

  1. I guess the citizens of San Benito must be a fine well oiled machine in order for the board to keep taking it’s citizens tax payer money?

I wonder how much longer will the football program will exist within SBCISD? Since there are four on the school board wasting taxpayer money by paying for two superintendent’s and now a law firm out of El Paso, TX to conduct a “witch hunt” on Mr. Limon.

So, to those in San Benito who voted for these four and don’t see the numbers being spent on this “witch hunt.” They voted to pay $717.25 a day to puppet Obergon and Mr. Limon. At 20 working days (M-F) that amounts to $14,345 per superintendent. That’s $28,690.00 a month for both. At 6 months, that amounts to $172,140.

Now, do you see what is the problem? Now, they are willing to pay a law frim $150,000.00 to $200,000.00. Those four want you to believe that Mr. Limon committed illegal activities and lied to you about the Cameron County District attorney was investigating? And the CCDA has come out publicly that they did not and were not investigating Mr. Limon. That means SBCISD Yilanan Gonzalez is lying and has made this a personal vendetta of sorts with June Aguilera (listening to her dad) and the other two puppets to waste YOUR taxpayer money. Keep these people in and they will raise taxes for their decisions.
