TAMUK students help San Benito promote environmental awareness

Signs promoting a more environmentally-friendly San Benito are soon to be displayed at the city’s public library and Heavin Resaca Trail—this as part of a continuing partnership with Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

On Tuesday, 22-year-old Shrey Kankaria and 21-year-old Nithesh Kattekola, TAMUK graduate students studying environmental engineering, were on-hand with TAMUK research engineer Augusto Sanchez and City of San Benito storm water officer Jose Figueroa for the signs’ posting.

  1. Research just keep on going. How about some signs at the high school that read join your favorite high school athletic program and learn more about the possible college scholarships at Texas A&M University-Kingsville? They probably have these already.
