San Benito Consolidated Independent School District employees will be having a green Christmas.
The SBCISD Board of trustees unanimously approved $500 incentives for district employees, as well as approving a new compensation plan during a Special Board Meeting on Thursday, July 18.

Whats wrong with these Board members this money was a grant given to the school district by the State and they want credit for this.
They are doing this to look good … And get re-elected….remember some of those board members have several family members and friends that Work in the district…… They have started with their tactics!!!!…. Voters…beware you may see an increase in your taxes…dont forget who will be the ones to blame come election day..plus some of those members dont pay taxes…they dont care .
The increase in pay, after 3 years of no raises, is not enough. The district is now seeing a huge exodus in Principals and this will continue as long as the Board of Trustees wastes money and not paying the employees enough. I am happy to see some principals leave the district.
