It all started with an idea.

Rogelio Nuñez had the notion of establishing the Valley’s first cultural arts center, but he needed help. Nuñez called upon his friend David A. Garza, who then called upon Ramón de León.

Together, the three men took Nuñez’ idea and turned it into a reality, otherwise known as the world-renown Narciso Martinez Cultural Arts Center—an establishment housed in San Benito where thousands are attracted annually to partake in the center’s popular and unique events.
