According to SBCISD Board President Yliana González, certain trustees have been receiving threats, including one in the form of a letter sent to each of the four members who make up the board majority.

Its no wonder that they are getting threats or phone calls about the most “stupid” decisions in what can only be described as personal retaliation? Sorry for the use of the word to describe my feelings but if the shoe fits so be it? I cannot truly believe that these school board members with the exception of Medrano and Cruz. I cannot understand how these four can really come to a conclusion on their decisions that have cost the taxpayers of SBISD the amount of over $1400.00 dollars a day? The other is appointing someone who doesn’t want to be there because HE sees that the board may have jumped the gun prior to getting the facts? The same one that overrode the changes by Mr. Limon because of these four? Based on the “acts” of the four, it appears you have a President who is not only strutting her authority but abusing it? Then you have the other one who’s father has contracts with the school and goes along with the President so daddy can continue making money? As for the other two, just followers! As for those who voted for these four, I would have to think that you are second guessing yourself because they are costing you money! Now, more money will be spent for the mediation into Limon’s contract? Really, wasting all this money just so Limon couldn’t hand his daughter her diploma? Shame on you four!

That One, don’t forget she has a Superintendent’s certificate as well. Good ol Chuy made sure to tell us during public comment once.
With regard to the article, I read the entire article and based on what was directly quoted from Ms. A’s letter, I’m shocked that they would even consider that letter a threat. It just sounds like a deeply religious person wrote it and didn’t mean any physical harm. But that’s just my opinion!

if you want to use metaphors, please learn the correct English usage. I have heard of people developing a tough skin, but a rough skin? Wal- Mart carries Gold Bond rough skin 20 X.

I find this very difficult to believe! I would not doubt that this is part of their plan to make people feel scared or sorry for them!! What type of threats? If this is true then their needs to be an official police report and investigation into this. Of course, an investigation by an outside law enforcement agency would be needed since they probably have connections with “el peluquero” and his police puppets!!

I don’t believe in threats, but I do believe our school board members are an embarrassment, I have never felt embarrassed to say I am from San Benito till now.

Of _course_ they are getting threatening messages. Do you think the public would ever accept their decisions?
