Rios recalls 27-year career at school district

RIO HONDO – If you have ever tried getting a hold of the Rio Hondo ISD superintendent, chances are you had to go through Isabel Gil Rios first.

Rios, who graduated from Rio Hondo High School in 1972, has been working with the RHISD for 27 years and for five superintendents, including newly hired Superintendent of Schools Ismael Garcia.
