A San Benito man was arrested Monday for abusing the 911 emergency line by allegedly calling police and claiming to be in possession of a handgun and threatening to use it.
It was at approximately 10:36 p.m. July 9 when Detective Rogelio Banda Jr. of the San Benito Police Department said that officers were dispatched to the residence of 48-year-old Daniel Romero Jr., located on the 100 block of Rosita Street.
