San Benito CISD Interim Superintendent Alfonso Obregon

San Benito CISD Interim Superintendent Alfonso Obregon explained on Thursday that he would be rescinding some of the administrative moves made by Antonio G. Limón prior to his suspension as Superintendent of Schools.

Such moves included the reassignment of San Benito Veterans Memorial Academy Principal Teresa Servellon to San Benito High School following former Principal Delia Weaver’s retirement; San Benito High School Assistant Principal Henry Sanchez was reassigned as the VMA Principal and at the elementary level Frank Roberts Principal Gilbert Galvan was moved to Ed Downs following former Principal Tim Moon’s resignation. Fred Booth Assistant Principal Carmen Ramos was also reassigned to serve at Frank Roberts in the same capacity.

“When I arrived, Ms. (Celeste Zepeda) Sanchez and Mr. (Ruben) Franco came to me with some type of crisis management situation that we needed to deal with,” Obregon said of Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction Celeste Zepeda Sanchez and Planner/Evaluator Ruben Franco regarding the aforementioned reassignments. “There were about 10 of them that for some reason needed to be acted on. I told them to brief me on what had happened. They said that we had committees scheduled.”

How about someone ask for the trip expenses? While you are at it, see if the interim supt. spent his days at an Island Conference last week. My tax dollars are not for him to be at the island.. He should be finishing up the ridiculous investigation on the real supt. Sources say the interim is staying around for a long time.

The interim supt is a veteran of education. Now ms. Sanchez and mr Franco are making decisions for the district… Do not think so.
The interim supt. was hired to make the decisions. Just ask MRS RODRIGUEZ how much SHE IS paying him. I do not recall anyone openly stating what he is getting paid or did I miss that video?
I hope this community attends the school board meeting on Tuesday. THIS DISTRICT IS BEYOND BELIEF!
Come on down texas education agency… We need a new Sherrif in town! oh wait this is San Be Ito and anything can happen.
