RIO HONDO – Rio Hondo City Commissioner Enrique “Rick” Tello faces a familiar face in his reelection bid.
Anita Lozano had served on the Rio Hondo City Commission for three terms before she lost her seat in 2011. Now she is looking to reclaim a seat on the commission by challenging Tello, the Place 2 incumbent.
“I want to continue what we had started when I was first in office,” Lozano said. “We want our city to continue to grow, and try to bring in new businesses as much as we can. How are we going to do that? We just need to work with our planning and zoning people and see what it is that we can do.”
