Confusion arose Tuesday, Jan. 17 during a meeting of the San Benito Consolidated Independent School District (SBCISD) Board of Trustees as more than one member expressed uncertainty as to the proposed one-year contract extension with HCA Physician Services, the district’s on-site primary healthcare clinic.
The three-year agreement for the clinic ends April 17 of this year but is subject to two one-year contract extensions. Superintendent of Schools, Antonio G. Limón recommended Tuesday that the Board of Trustees extend the contract for the clinic.
