Marching Auxiliaries Valley Dance Camp
San Benito High School Belles hosted their Third Annual Valley-wide Dance Camp at Veteran’s Memorial Academy from June 27-29. The Marching Auxiliaries staff taught the participants up to five dances a day to help prepare them for pep rallies, football games and competition season. The camp also consisted of a Home Routine competition on the first day and a Grand Champion competition on the last day. The San Benito High School Belles competed in these competitions and received a Superior award at the camp. Aside from the competitions, San Benito High School had 10 dancers who were invited to participate in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York and Capital One Bowl in Orlando, Florida. The following schools who attended the camp were Veteran’s Memorial Academy, Miller Jordan Middle School, Port Isabel High School, Los Fresnos High School, Lopez High School and Hanna High School from Brownsville.
