SBCISD logoSan Benito CISD Superintendent of Schools Antonio G. Limón announced the district’s upcoming goals, which included the completion of a new elementary school before the upcoming 2011-2012 school year.

Limón stated that the school district has three major goals; academics, student and staff safety, and increasing the fund balance.

“The first goal is obviously academics. The academic goal states that we are to equal or surpass the state standard. In our case, we set the goal that we want Exemplary or a 95 percent plus in all areas,” Limón said. “The second goal is student and staff safety. We have, of course, throughout the years invested in security cameras not only for all our campuses but now also all of our school buses are equipped with three cameras plus a tracking device that allows us to know where the bus is at all times.”
