To put it simply, Yvette Ybarra just likes to eat.

The 24-year-old San Benito News Sales Representative was recently named the fifth and final judge in her employer’s Second Annual The Best Tamales in Town Contest, a duty she welcomed happily.

Although Ybarra lacks the expertise of other more seasoned judges, she plans to utilize her extensive knowledge in simply knowing what tastes good and what tastes bad when judging.

She remembered her first experience eating a tamal as if it was yesterday.
