SAN BENITO, TX—Lewis Henry Maston, 92, passed away at a local nursing home on Sunday afternoon.
He was Chief of Rio Grande Valley Fireman’s Association and retired from Texas Highway Department.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Patricia Maston; he is survived by his wife Mary Maston; one son Lewis E. Maston (Annette); two daughters Frances Johnson (Norm) and Louise Cooper; one brother John Maston; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Church services are set for 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at First United Methodist Church in San Benito. Private entombment to be held at Mont Meta.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Sonny Glen Children’s Home, First United Methodist Church in San Benito or charity of choice.
