The ’Hounds have been led in scoring thus far by Hugo Ramos, who entered the Harlingen game scoring 18 points per game. In the team’s first game of the season Ramos notched 16 in a win over Donna. He followed that up with 20 in a win over McAllen Memorial in a 60-55 victory.

In the Memorial game the team pulled together for a come from behind win. They trailed 29-22 at the half but used a 20-12 third quarter and some great free throw shooting to attain the win on the road.
